Cosmetic Surgery in the U.S. for Patients From Brazil
Cosmetic surgery is elective. You choose the surgeon, the facility, and the city. For patients traveling from Brazil, here is how a consultation and surgical plan work at our Oklahoma City practice.

Why patients travel from Brazil for cosmetic surgery
Some patients find the right match close to home. Others look further — across borders — because the decision comes down to a specific surgeon's experience, a specific procedure, or the standards of the facility where the surgery will be performed. Oklahoma Surgical Arts serves patients from Brazil, among other countries including Vietnam, the United Kingdom, India, Canada, and Mexico.
The practice operates out of an AAAHC-accredited surgery center in Oklahoma City with two operating rooms. Dr. Angelo Cuzalina founded the practice and directs its AACS-accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship. His published case volume exceeds 18,000 procedures, with particular focus on rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, and total-body contouring.
The six cosmetic surgeons of the Tulsa Surgical Arts roster all serve Oklahoma City patients. Dr. Trent Fogleman practices in Oklahoma City full-time. You may ask for a specific surgeon when you book, or share your goals and the team will match you.
How the consultation works from a distance
Every plan here begins the same way, whether you live nearby or far away. You meet the surgeon. You are examined. You describe what bothers you in your own words. You leave with a written plan and a written, all-in number — both yours to keep, to decide on your own time. There is no pressure in the room and none after you leave it.
Virtual consultations let patients traveling from Brazil have a thorough initial conversation without an extra trip. When surgery is scheduled, a single in-person pre-operative visit confirms the plan. Consultations are available in person at the Oklahoma City office or virtual from anywhere.
You choose your surgeon and your city — surgery happens in Oklahoma City or Tulsa. The practice address is 12400 Saint Andrew's Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Parking is free and on-site. The team confirms your arrival time for your specific case.
Surgery day and the facility
On surgery day, your driver pulls directly to the entrance for drop-off and pick-up. You check in, complete pre-operative preparation, and have a final review with your surgeon and anesthesia provider. After surgery you wake in recovery under one-to-one observation, then discharge home with your driver and your written instructions.
The rule is straightforward: after anesthesia you may not drive yourself, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you and stays with you for the first 24 hours. For patients who have traveled, planning this companion and recovery accommodation in advance is essential.
Bring photo ID, your completed paperwork, a written list of every medication and supplement you take, and glasses with a case. Wear loose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. Leave jewelry and valuables at your accommodation.
The procedures patients travel for
Breast augmentation is this practice's flagship — alongside the full menu: tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, mommy makeover, gynecomastia surgery, and facial surgery. Dr. Cuzalina's particular focus areas include rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, and total-body contouring.
Patient forms — registration in English and Spanish, the HIPAA privacy notice, the financial policy, and procedure-specific documents — are published as PDFs and can be completed before you arrive. When any written instruction differs from what your surgical team tells you directly, their instructions win.
Start with a conversation
If you are considering cosmetic surgery and traveling from Brazil, the first step is a consultation — virtual or in person. Call 405-751-0042 or request a consultation through the practice website. You will speak with a surgeon, receive a written plan, and have the time you need to decide. Consult a qualified surgeon to discuss your goals and whether a procedure is appropriate for you.
