Cosmetic Surgery in the U.S. for Patients From Canada
Cosmetic surgery is elective. You choose the surgeon, the facility, and the city. For patients traveling from Canada, here is how a consultation and surgical plan work at our Oklahoma City practice.

Why patients from Canada choose Oklahoma City
Some patients find the right surgeon close to home. Others look further — across borders — because a specific surgeon's experience, a specific procedure, or the standards of a specific facility matter more than proximity. Oklahoma Surgical Arts serves patients from Canada, among other countries, at our AAAHC-accredited surgery center in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Angelo Cuzalina founded the practice and directs its AACS-accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship. His published case volume exceeds 18,000 procedures, with particular focus on rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, and total-body contouring. The six cosmetic surgeons of the Tulsa Surgical Arts roster all serve Oklahoma City patients, and Dr. Trent Fogleman practices here full-time.
Two operating rooms. An accredited facility. A team whose scope runs from breast augmentation and tummy tuck to eyelid surgery, gynecomastia surgery, and facial procedures. The practice is the same whether you live in Oklahoma or travel from Canada.
How the consultation works from a distance
Every plan begins the same way, whether you are seven miles away or in another country. You meet the surgeon. You are examined. You describe what bothers you in your own words. You leave with a written plan and a written, all-in number — both yours to keep, to decide on your own time. There is no pressure in the room and none after you leave it.
Virtual consultations let patients from Canada have a thorough initial conversation without traveling first. You can ask for a specific surgeon when you book, or share your goals and the team will match you. When surgery is scheduled, a single in-person pre-operative visit confirms the plan. You choose your surgeon and your city — surgery happens in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.
The facility and surgery day
The practice is located at 12400 Saint Andrew's Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Parking is free and on-site. On surgery day, your driver pulls directly to the entrance for drop-off and pick-up. The team confirms your arrival time for your specific case — not a general clinic opening.
Bring photo ID, your completed paperwork, a written list of every medication and supplement you take, glasses and a case. Wear loose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. No makeup, lotion, deodorant, or fragrance on surgery day. Leave jewelry and valuables at your accommodation.
After anesthesia, you may not drive yourself, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you and stays with you for the first 24 hours. You wake in recovery under one-to-one observation, then discharge with your driver and your written instructions.
Planning your stay and follow-up
International patients typically need to plan a stay in Oklahoma City that covers the pre-operative visit, surgery day, and early follow-up appointments. The surgical team will outline the expected timeline for your specific procedure so you can plan accordingly. When any written instruction differs from what your surgical team tells you directly, their instructions win.
The Tulsa flagship has a private overnight guest suite, and your consult, records, and photography follow you between cities if needed. The practice phone is 405-751-0042 — the team is reachable before, during, and after your trip.
