Cosmetic Surgery in the U.S. for Patients From Mexico
Cosmetic surgery is elective. You choose the surgeon, the facility, and the city. For patients traveling from Mexico, here is how a consultation and surgical plan works at our Oklahoma City practice.

Why patients travel from Mexico for cosmetic surgery
The decision to travel for surgery usually comes down to a specific surgeon's experience, a specific procedure, or the standards of the facility where the operation will be performed. Oklahoma Surgical Arts serves patients from Mexico, Canada, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, India, Brazil, and other countries. The practice operates out of an AAAHC-accredited surgery center in Oklahoma City with two operating rooms.
Dr. Angelo Cuzalina founded the practice and directs its AACS-accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship. His published case volume exceeds 18,000 procedures, with particular focus on rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, and total-body contouring. The six cosmetic surgeons of the Tulsa Surgical Arts roster all serve Oklahoma City patients, and Dr. Trent Fogleman practices in Oklahoma City full-time.
The menu includes breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, mommy makeover, gynecomastia surgery, and facial surgery. You choose your surgeon and your city — surgery happens in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.
How the consultation works from a distance
Every plan here begins the same way, whether you live nearby or far away. You meet the surgeon. You are examined. You describe what bothers you in your own words. You leave with a written plan and a written, all-in number — both yours to keep, to decide on your own time. There is no pressure in the room and none after you leave it.
Virtual consultations let patients traveling from Mexico have a thorough initial conversation without an extra trip. When surgery is scheduled, a single in-person pre-operative visit confirms the plan. You may ask for a specific surgeon when you book, or share your goals and the team will match you.
Patient forms — including registration in English and Spanish — are published as PDFs so you can print, complete, and bring them on your visit. The team confirms your arrival time for your specific case, not a general clinic opening.
The facility and surgery day
The practice is located at 12400 Saint Andrew's Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Parking is free and on-site. On surgery day, your driver pulls directly to the entrance for drop-off and pick-up. You check in, complete pre-operative preparation, and have a final review with your surgeon and anesthesia provider.
After anesthesia you may not drive yourself, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you and stays with you for the first 24 hours. You wake in recovery under one-to-one observation, then discharge with your driver and your written instructions. Bring photo ID, your completed paperwork, a written list of every medication and supplement you take, and glasses with a case. Wear loose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. No makeup, lotion, deodorant, or fragrance on surgery day.
Planning your stay and follow-up
Recovery timelines depend on the procedure. Your surgeon will outline how many days you should plan to remain in the Oklahoma City area before traveling home, and what follow-up appointments are needed. Some follow-up can be handled virtually; your team will tell you which visits require an in-person exam.
If you choose to have surgery at the Tulsa location instead, the flagship has a private overnight guest suite. Your consult records and photography follow you between cities. The phone number for the Oklahoma City office is 405-751-0042 — the team can answer logistical questions before you book a consultation.
Start with a conversation
If you are considering cosmetic surgery and traveling from Mexico, the first step is a consultation — virtual or in person.
