Cosmetic Surgery in the US for Patients From the United Kingdom

Cosmetic surgery is elective. You choose the surgeon, the facility, and the city. For patients traveling from the United Kingdom, here is how a consultation and surgical plan work at our Oklahoma City practice.

Why patients from the United Kingdom choose a surgeon abroad

The decision to travel for cosmetic surgery usually comes down to a specific surgeon's experience, a specific procedure, or the standards of the facility where the surgery will be performed. Some patients find the right match close to home. Others look further — across borders.

Oklahoma Surgical Arts serves patients from the United Kingdom, Vietnam, India, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and other countries. The practice operates out of an AAAHC-accredited surgery center in Oklahoma City with two operating rooms. Dr. Angelo Cuzalina founded the practice and directs its AACS-accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship.

Dr. Cuzalina's published case volume exceeds 18,000 procedures, with particular focus on rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, and total-body contouring. The six cosmetic surgeons of the Tulsa Surgical Arts roster all serve Oklahoma City patients, and Dr. Trent Fogleman practices in Oklahoma City full-time.

How the consultation works from a distance

Every plan here begins the same way, whether you live seven miles away or seven hundred — or whether you are across an ocean. You meet the surgeon. You are examined. You describe what bothers you in your own words. You leave with a written plan and a written, all-in number. Both are yours to keep, to decide on your own time. There is no pressure in the room and none after you leave it.

Virtual consultations let patients from the United Kingdom have a thorough initial conversation without traveling first. When surgery is scheduled, a single in-person pre-operative visit confirms the plan. You may ask for a specific surgeon when you book, or share your goals and the team will match you. You choose your surgeon and your city — surgery happens in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.

The facility and surgery day

The practice is located at 12400 Saint Andrew's Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Parking is free and on-site. On surgery day, your driver pulls directly to the entrance for drop-off and pick-up. The surgical team confirms your arrival time for your specific case — not a general clinic opening.

After anesthesia you may not drive yourself, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you and stays with you for the first 24 hours. You wake in recovery under one-to-one observation, then discharge with your driver and your written instructions.

Bring photo ID, your completed paperwork, a written list of every medication and supplement you take, glasses and a case. Wear loose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. No makeup, lotion, deodorant, or fragrance on surgery day.

Procedures available to international patients

The full surgical menu is available: breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, mommy makeover, gynecomastia surgery, facial surgery, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, and total-body contouring. Non-surgical options include BOTOX®, Jeuveau™, Dysport, XEOMIN®, Juvéderm, SkinVive, Radiesse, Sculptra, and Versa — delivered on the program's standards, consultation first.

The practice's AACS-accredited fellowship means that every procedure follows a teaching-hospital discipline in documentation, photography, and surgical planning. Your records and photography follow you between the Oklahoma City and Tulsa locations if needed.

Planning your trip and next steps

The virtual consultation is the first step. It costs you nothing but time and gives you a direct conversation with the surgeon who would perform your procedure. From there, the team helps you coordinate the in-person pre-operative visit and surgery date so your time in Oklahoma City is efficient.

If you are considering cosmetic surgery and would like to explore whether this practice is the right fit, request a consultation. Call 405-751-0042 or complete the online consult form. The team will walk you through every step — from your first question to your written surgical plan.
