Cosmetic Surgery in the U.S. for Patients From Vietnam

Patients traveling from Vietnam choose Oklahoma Surgical Arts for cosmetic and plastic surgery in the United States. Here is how the consultation works and what the process looks like from first contact through surgery day.

Why patients travel for surgery

Patients from Vietnam and other international communities seek cosmetic surgery in the United States for many reasons. Some want a specific procedure — rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, total-body contouring — performed in an AAAHC-accredited surgical facility with structured safety standards. Others want a second opinion on a plan they already have.

Oklahoma Surgical Arts is Dr. Angelo Cuzalina's Oklahoma City practice. Dr. Cuzalina is a Fellowship Director, a past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and a past president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. The practice offers consults virtual or in person, with surgery performed in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.

The full procedural menu includes rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery, total-body contouring, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, eyelid surgery, mommy makeover, gynecomastia surgery, and facial surgery. Consult a qualified surgeon to determine which procedure, if any, is appropriate for your anatomy and goals.

How the consultation works

Every plan starts the same way. You meet the surgeon. You are examined. You describe what bothers you in your own words. You leave with a written plan and a written, all-in number. Both are yours to keep. You decide on your own time. There is zero pressure.

Virtual consultations are available from anywhere. That means patients traveling from Vietnam can begin the process before arriving in Oklahoma City. You share your goals, your medical history, your medications, and your questions. The surgeon reviews your anatomy and gives you a straight recommendation — sometimes it is the procedure you came in for, sometimes it is a smaller one, and sometimes it is none yet.

The written quote is one all-in number: surgeon, anesthesia, AAAHC-accredited facility, and follow-up. The practice honors it. When you are ready, surgery happens in Oklahoma City or Tulsa — your choice of city.

What to bring and how to prepare

Bring a list of every medication and supplement you take. Bring your surgical and medical history, including any prior cosmetic surgery performed anywhere. If you have breast implants, bring your implant card if you can find it. Write your questions down — consults answer more when you arrive armed.

On surgery day, bring photo ID, your paperwork, glasses and a case (no contact lenses), phone and charger. Wear loose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. No makeup, lotion, deodorant, or fragrance. Leave jewelry, piercings, and valuables at home.

After anesthesia you may not drive yourself, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you home and stays with you for the first twenty-four hours. Your driver checks in with you, stays reachable by phone for the entire day, and receives your discharge instructions in person.

Starting the process from Vietnam

The first step is a virtual consultation. You can begin the consult form online or call 405-751-0042 or text the practice directly. The conversation covers your goals, your health, and your anatomy. From there the surgeon builds a written plan.

When any instruction from the Patient Resource Center differs from what your surgical team tells you directly, their instructions win. Surgery is scheduled when you and your surgeon agree the plan is right. Recovery protocols, follow-up appointments, and written instructions are provided before you leave the facility.

We welcome patients traveling from Vietnam and are glad to walk you through every step. If you are considering cosmetic or plastic surgery in the United States, request a consultation — virtual or in person — and leave with a plan you understand completely. Call 405-751-0042, text us, or start the consult form online.
